Episodic Observations

This page is still under construction and will slowly have material from older seasons added to it.

Here I will cross-post my thoughts on episodes as I watch them, some have proper write-ups interspersed with random observations made throughout the episode. Some organization is present in some, but these aren’t write-ups written post-episode and thus are less formal. More recent seasons are at the top.

Most shows will only get first episode notes, a couple more post-episode only. Next to no full-episode notes this season.

Akame ga Kill! – First Impressions and focusing on style.

Aldnoah.Zero – Full notes or post-episodic.

HxH please. I found it got really good after the first or second season, where actual plot and characterisation started happening… And all the epic antagonists start appearing.

Well, even if I watch it, no way am I getting through so many episodes with episodic notes, were I to watch it it’d be 4-10 episodes at a time, and zero notes :P
